Join the Delaware Turkey Trot: A Fun Run for a Great Cause

The Delaware Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 28, 2024. At 8:30 a.m., promising to be an exciting event for the entire community as always. The event will be held behind Discount Fashion Warehouse/Kohl’s. It is a 5K run/walk that is a perfect way for you to start your Thanksgiving festivities.

Participants will enjoy a well-marked route through the beautiful surroundings of Delaware Ohio. The course was designed to be accessible for everyone, whether running a 5K is normal to you or you have never done anything like this before. Each participant will receive a drawstring bag, long-sleeve shirt, finisher medal, and individual dessert (Little Gobblers receive the bag, shirt, and medal), making it a fun memorable experience for all.

But the Delaware Turkey Trot is more than just a fun run. It’s an event with heart and purpose. 100% of the proceeds from the race will be donated to Autism Society Central Ohio, supporting their vital work in our community. By joining the trot, you’re not only getting a good start to your holiday but also making a meaningful contribution to a worthy cause.

If you happen to be in the area or on campus during the holiday, this event offers a wonderful opportunity for students to get involved, meet new people, and engage in a positive community activity. It’s a perfect way to take a break, clear your head from the stress of class, and contribute to a cause that makes a real difference in the lives of many families.

So, lace up those running shoes and come join in on all the fun at the Delaware turkey trot! Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation helps support the Autism Society Central Ohio and brings our community closer together. Let’s make this Thanksgiving one to remember!
