Spring Break at OWU

Spring Break at Ohio Wesleyan University is quickly approaching! Students will be heading out for a well-deserved break in just a few short days. This year, OWU’s Spring Break runs from March 8 to March 16. The week leading up to break is often filled with midterm exams, making this time off a valuable chance to rest, recharge, and reset for the remainder of the semester. Not sure what to do over Spring Break? Now is the perfect time to start planning!

If you are thinking about traveling, the first step is choosing a destination.. popular spring break spots for college students include Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the southern United States. These locations are flourishing with energy in March, creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. If big crowds aren’t your thing, there are ways to enjoy your spring break at these locations in a more laid-back manner. Some relaxing things you could do at these destinations include laying out by the pool, taking a sunrise walk on the beach, or exploring new towns and cities.

Once you’ve chosen a destination, you must find your means of transportation, whether it’s booking a flight, driving, or some other form of transportation. After that, you’ll need to secure accommodations, such as a hotel or Airbnb.

If traveling isn’t your style, there are plenty of ways to make the most of spring break at home. Decompression looks different for everyone–it could mean spending time with friends and family, playing video games, going for walks or simply relaxing., No matter how you spend your break, taking time to unwind will help you feel refreshed and ready to finish the semester strong.
