Ohio Wesleyan Women's Volleyball: October Matches You Can't Miss!

Let’s get ready to cheer on our Ohio Wesleyan Women’s Volleyball team this October as they gear up for two crucial home matches, both starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Branch Rickey Arena (30 Wilmer St, Delaware, OH 43015)!

Upcoming Matches:

  • October 8: Ohio Wesleyan vs. Earlham College

Come out to support your fellow Bishops as they face Earlham College, which currently holds a record of 4 - 9. With both teams looking to secure a win, your support will make all the difference! So please join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Branch Rickey Arena for an exciting night of volleyball.

  • October 15: Ohio Wesleyan vs. Kenyon University

This Women’s volleyball match-up is especially crucial, as losing to Kenyon (currently 6 - 10) could cost the team their spot in the conference championship. Plus, it’s Morgan’s Message Night, a special event held annually during volleyball season dedicated to raising awareness and funds for student-athlete mental health. Each year, we come together to promote the message of “Taking a shot at Mental Health,” which seeks to normalize conversations about mental health and empower those who feel alone. Let’s fill the stands on October 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Branch Rickey Arena– we can cheer the Women’s volleyball team on to victory and support an important cause at the same time!

Meet Jacob: Our Team Manager

Jacob is entering his third season with the Ohio Wesleyan Women's volleyball team, and he's passionate about his role. “This experience has given me an original purpose other than School,” he shares. As The team manager, Jacob runs drills during practice, fills in for missing positions, and oversees Serving Strategy during games. He's also responsible for managing film and score sheets, keeping everything organized for the coaching staff. His dedication is a vital part of the team's success! He encourages everyone to “Come out to the matches and support us,” adding “We can’t wait to see all of the campus community in the stands.”

Join Us!

Whether you’re a die-hard volleyball fan or just looking for a fun way to support your fellow students, these home matches promise to be exciting! So throw on some red and black, bring your friends, and let’s cheer our team to victory!

We can’t wait to see you there!
