Ohio Wesleyan University Celebrates Class of 2025 at Commencement Ceremony

Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) will honor the Class of 2025 at its highly anticipated graduation ceremony on May 10, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rock Quad. The event will mark the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and growth for students across various disciplines.

This year’s ceremony will feature an inspiring keynote address by Jasmine Guy, a multi-talented performer, author, director, and six-time consecutive winner of the NAACP Image Awards. Known for her dynamic career in dance, acting, and beyond, Guy has become an icon in the entertainment industry. Graduates and their families can look forward to her motivational words as they embark on new journeys beyond OWU.

In addition, the Class of 2025 will hear from their student speaker, Amara Carlson, a Health & Human Kinetics major and Nutrition minor from Dublin, Ohio. Carlson, who was chosen by her peers to represent the class, will share personal insights and reflections on the experiences that shaped her time at OWU.

As Rock Quad transforms into a vibrant celebration space, the ceremony will not only mark the end of an era for the graduates but also serve as a testament to their hard-earned achievements. The Class of 2025’s time at OWU may be drawing to a close, but it’s clear that their future is bright and full of possibilities.

The entire OWU community looks forward to celebrating this momentous occasion and sending off the graduates in style!
