Ohio Wesleyan University has earned international recognition as one of the world’s top institutions for students seeking education abroad. In the 2025–2026 rankings released by Study Abroad Aide, the university placed among the top 23% of Best Universities and the top 29% of Best Value Universities worldwide.
Out of 8,536 colleges and universities evaluated, Ohio Wesleyan ranked No. 1,923 globally for overall excellence and No. 2,470 for value. The rankings are based on academic reputation and affordability, highlighting institutions that combine strong educational standards with financial accessibility.
According to Study Abroad Aide founder Hyun Lee, the rankings identify universities that not only deliver high-quality education but also create supportive environments where international students can thrive and make a global impact.
Kristin Crosby, director of International Admission at Ohio Wesleyan, welcomed the recognition and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to helping students find the right academic fit as they pursue their bachelor’s degrees. She emphasized that Ohio Wesleyan offers more than 70 academic majors, along with research, internships, and hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for real-world success.
The university also demonstrates its commitment to affordability by providing international merit awards to every admitted student, regardless of academic profile or financial need. In addition, personalized support is available through the Office of International and Off-Campus Programs to guide students throughout their time on campus.
As an international student at Ohio Wesleyan, I have personally experienced this support. Through the university’s Career Connection office, I received $4,000 to help cover expenses for my internship. This opportunity not only eased financial pressure but also allowed me to gain valuable professional experience while focusing on my academic and career goals.
Ohio Wesleyan’s campus culture is centered on student success, ensuring that international students grow academically, personally, and professionally, graduating prepared to lead and make meaningful contributions in their communities and around the world.
